Fake Virus (Prank)

Hello Friends,

Today, I'll tell you about a prank using which you can scare your friends off!

Follow these instructions :-

1. Open Notepad and type the below code

X=MsgBox("Message Description",0+16,"Title")

This code is basically telling the computer that when the following script is opened, it will display a fake error message box with the title as “Title” and the description as “Message Description”. But those can be changed so if you want to type a different title or description, go ahead

This is a Visual Basic Code, which means you are able to type in Visual Basic Scripts using Notepad! So anyways, the numbers in that code can be changed.

Let me explain you the code:

X=MsgBox("Message Description",0+16,"Title")

Here,

A. Message Description: Write some warning message you want to display (In below image the description is “A critical VIRUS has been detected that has deleted all your folders on this computer."

B. 0+16: It is a combination of two different codes:

–you can write any numbers from 0,1,2,3,4 instead of 0 (before the ‘+’ symbol) & here is the meaning of each number:

0 = Ok Button

1 = Ok/Cancel Button

2 = Abort/Retry/Ignore button

3 = Yes/No/Cancel

4 = Yes/No

–you can write any numbers from 16,32,48,64 instead of 16 (after the ‘+’ symbol) & here is the meaning of each number:

16 – Critical Icon

32 – Warning Icon

48 – Warning Message Icon

64 – Information Icon

C. Title: you can write any title (in below image the title is “COMPUTER ERASED.”)

To create multiple Message Boxes, just duplicate the line so that it could end up to something like this in the message:

2. Now at the end you are going to go to ‘Save As’ and here’s the important step. The file-type should be set to ‘All types’ and the extension of your filename should be .VBS. For example, “Fake virus.vbs”. Once you save it, open it up and you should get your message box opened up.

Hard Disk Eraser! (Prank)

Hello Friends,

Today I'll teach you a little prank to play on your friends by showing them that their Computer has detected a virus and it will erase the Hard Disk and would they Like to proceed?

Follow these instructions :-

1. Open Notepad and type the below code

2. You can change the 20 to these numbers to get another results-->

3. Now You can change the Title to anything You like suppose in the below Image I have written Virus Detected.

4. Now you can change the message in the bold to anything you like.

5. Now save the file as anyname.vbs (Name must end with .vbs) and file type as All Files.

Now,When your friend will open the vbs file and get scared of losing their Hard Disk.

Whichever Option you click,nothing will happen.

Secure Safe! Hide your folders with a Batch file.

Hello Friends,

Today I'll teach you a very easy way to secure your private folders.With this trick, you can create a secure password protected folder in Windows which no one except you (or the one with the password) can access.

Follow these instructions :-

Hide The Folder :-

1. Open Notepad.

2. Copy and paste the exact code given below:-

4. Save the file as *.bat or Locker.bat (Name must end with .bat) and select file type as All Files.

5. After creating the file, double click on the Saved file. A new folder will be created. Enter your data in the folder. Again, double click on the batch file. Type Y and press Enter. The folder will be hidden from view.

The default password for revealing the password is "mysecretfolder"

Reveal The Folder :-

1. To re-view your folder, double click on the saved batch file. Enter password as "mysecretfolder " without quotes and press Enter key. This is also the default password. Your folder will be visible again.

Change The Password :-

To change the default password, edit the part of the code where it is written "mysecretfolder " and enter the password you wish to keep.

The overall usability of this trick can be improved by deleting the batch file after hiding your folder and re-creating it when you wish to access your folder again.

Make your Computer Welcome you at Start-Up

Hello Friends,

Today I'll teach you to make your computer a little bit smart so it welcomes you every time you open it.

Follow these instructions :-

1. Copy and Paste the following code in Notepad and Save it as speech.vbs (name must end with .vbs and save file type as all files)

Code ->

Dim speaks, speech

speaks=""

Set speech=CreateObject("sapi.spvoice")

speech.Speak speaks

2. In the place of "YOUR MESSAGE HERE.",Write the message you want your computer to speak at startup.

3. After saving the file,click on the speech.vbs once and hear if the computer speacks your typed message.

4. Now Copy the speech.vbs file and go to --->

START->ALL PROGRAMS->STARTUP.

5. Now Right-Click on Start-Up folder and click on EXPLORE.

The StartUp folder will open in new window.

6. Now Paste your Speech folder in the STARTUP FOLDER.

Now RESTART your Computer and See if your computer speaks your typed message.

On Windows the Narrator is ANNA.

On Windows XP the Narrator is Sam.

Now When you open your computer in front of your friends, they'll be stunned that you have such an intelligent computer.

Secret behind the "CON" folder problem.

Hello Friends,

Many of us have often tried to make folder with name "CON" but have been unsuccessful and an error saying "The specified device name is invalid"

Well, Now I'll tell you all why its not possible.
In MS-DOS, several special "device files" were available to aid in performing certain tasks, such as clearing the screen or deleting extraneous output from a program. In order to maintain backwards-compatibility, all versions of Windows up to and including Windows 7 will refuse to allow you to create a file with these "reserved" device file names.

The following file names are reserved:
CON
PRN
AUX
NUL
COM1
COM2
COM3
COM4
COM5
COM6
COM7
COM8
COM9
LPT1
LPT2
LPT3
LPT4
LPT5
LPT6
LPT7
LPT8
LPT9

But don't worry I'll teach you to make a folder named "CON" but more on that later.

Make a Invisible Folder

Earlier I have told you how to make a folder with no name.

Now I am going to teach you how to make a Invisible Folder

For those who don't know how to make a folder with no name,they can click here

1. Right Click that Folder>Go to Properties.

2. Go to Customize and select Change Icon.

3. Search for an Icon you don't see.
That means You will see empty spaces in between.(according to me some 3 or 4). Select that Icon and Apply the settings.
Note:

a. This trick is useful for using on desktop.
b. To make your folder fully invisible, try applying the 'No name' trick along with this.

Make a Folder with No Name

I will now teach you how to make a folder with no name.

Follow these simple instructions :-

1. Go to your desktop>Right Click>New Folder.
2. Rename the folder by pressing Alt key and type 0160.>Then Click Enter
THE FOLDER WILL HAVE NO NAME.

Note:

a. You need to type the numbers "0160" from your numeric keypad.
b. For those people who don't have a standard keyboard,there'll be no numeric keypad on your keyboard, for that you need to press the function (Fn) key on your key along with that press the Alt key and type out the numbers.
